Learning Support Assistant in Manchester

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Manchester.

Hays Education, a specialist recruitment agency, is working with schools in the area to provide high-quality learning support staff. Our competitive daily rates range from £95-£115 per day. You will also receive full holiday entitlement and access to exclusive job opportunities that are not advertised publicly.

About the Role
  • Previous experience working with children and young people with SEND is essential.
  • You should be an empathetic and patient individual with a passion for supporting students' learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Able to provide tailored support and implement behaviour plans.
  • The ability to work independently and effectively in a team is necessary.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate is mandatory (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks are also required.
