Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Specialist to join our Supported Learning Department as a SEND Support Practitioner on a permanent, full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEN/D) and be able to work effectively with High Needs learners.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our learners. As a SEND Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to individual or small groups of learners requiring SpLD support. Your role will involve progressing learning and the holistic wellbeing of learners through in-class and out-of-class support, ensuring they receive high-quality, efficient support and positive learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to learners with SEN/D
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop personalized learning plans
- Assess progress against learning and support targets to ensure learners achieve in line with their peers
- Contribute to learner reviews on the effectiveness of support in the learning environment

Requirements
- Minimum Level 2 Learning Support qualification or willingness to achieve within an agreed period
- Minimum of a Level 2 Specialist support qualification (or willingness to achieve within an agreed period)
- Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
- Willingness to work towards a secondary specialist support area at minimum Level 2
