About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Headteacher to lead our brand-new SEN school in Amesbury, Wiltshire. As a Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading our new school, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic development and day-to-day operations of the school.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Special Educational Needs, primarily Autism, with the ability to effectively support associated learning needs.
  • Contribute to the establishment of a successful and vibrant learning environment in a brand-new school setting.
  • Be actively involved in the school community, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Headteacher with a successful track record in educational leadership.
  • Strong background in dealing with Special Educational Needs, primarily Autism, and associated learning needs.
  • Familiarity with the dynamics of independent schools and a hands-on approach to school management.
