About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Headteacher to lead our new SEN school in Amesbury, Wiltshire. As a strategic leader, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing the school's day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic development of the school, including curriculum design and implementation.
- Manage the school's operations, including staff management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the school's compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality education and support services.
- Monitor and evaluate the school's performance, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Headteacher in an SEN setting.
- Strong background in dealing with Special Educational Needs, primarily Autism, and associated learning needs.
- Familiarity with the dynamics of independent schools and a hands-on approach to school management.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with parents, carers, and other stakeholders.
