About the Role:
Hiscox is seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our resilience team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our Operational Resilience framework, ensuring the continuity of our critical business services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight and maintenance of the Operational Resilience SharePoint site, ensuring that the process library is current and all artefacts are up to date.
- Periodic review of the list of important business services through stakeholder facilitation, responding to questions and queries, ensuring that we continue to correctly identify those services of most importance to our customers and to Hiscox.
- Regularly review and maintain resource mapping information, aligning closely with the Important Business Service Owners, Procurement, Property Services and IT etc.
- Periodically review impact tolerance metrics, intolerable harm definition and related business rationale in liaison with Important Business Service Owners, Department heads, HSL, and in alignment with evolving market / regulatory guidance.
- Scenario testing activity, helping to progressively mature testing across LM.
- Ensuring lessons learnt are identified and appropriate remedial actions/vulnerabilities are followed through to completion.
- Periodic reviews of training material to ensure it is fit for purpose and in line with regulation and remediate when necessary.
- Providing advice and guidance on Operational Resilience to LM colleagues.
- Production of Operational Resilience reporting requirements.
