About the Role

We are seeking an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out fault finding, problem solving, and planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment to maximise equipment reliability and performance.

You will respond to internal customer needs to maximise production time according to given priorities, comply with food safety standards and controls to ensure all work is carried out correctly and safely, and complete all necessary documentation ensuring that it is kept accurate and is audit ready.

You will also identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to promote Health & Safety and/or operational efficiency and effectiveness, and perform maintenance on a range of manufacturing/production/packaging machinery.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an apprentice-trained engineer with a formal electrical engineering qualification (minimum Level 3 NVQ/C&G) and experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing/FMCG.

You should have knowledge of both mechanical and electrical maintenance, utilise a proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop, and have experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding.
