Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems. This role will involve managing the delivery of improvement activities from concept to deployment, leading workshops to identify and progress improvement activities, and acting as a business partner and mentor to the Submarine programmes.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with Change Management, and be comfortable analysing data. They will also have a Lean Six Sigma qualification or be willing to work towards one. Additionally, they should be a good proactive, team player that can work independently and has strong communication skills, at different stakeholder levels.

This is an excellent opportunity to sharpen your skills and broaden your experience of a complex supply chain organisation. You will get the opportunity to design and deploy improvement solutions that will equip the organisation with a capability fit for the future.

Estimated Salary: £40,748 per annum, depending on location and experience.

Location: Barrow-In-Furness or flexible hybrid working arrangements available.

About the Role:
• Manage the delivery of improvement activities from concept to deployment.
• Lead workshops to identify and progress improvement activities.
• Act as a business partner and mentor to the Submarine programmes.
• Analyse processes and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
