About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Inspection Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, such as Astute and Dreadnought.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored training packages, leading research and development of specialised equipment, and providing comprehensive support for RVI equipment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and implementing tailored training packages for the company's management system
  • Leading research and development of specialised equipment to support business objectives
  • Providing comprehensive support for RVI equipment, including maintenance, repairs, procurement, trials, and handling emergent requests within the department
  • Generating and analysing performance metrics to assess the benefits of capability improvements over time
  • Assisting in preparing business cases and justifications, with a focus on maximising return on investment

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in an Engineering Discipline or relevant experience
  • Knowledge Visual inspection
  • Ability to effectively negotiate, persuade and influence up to senior management
  • Previous RVI/inspection experience would be beneficial
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Familiarity with toolsets Jira, Sharepoint, Microsoft
