Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Nuclear Engineer to lead our Remote Visual Inspection team as a Sr. Engineer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing training programs, conducting research and development, and providing equipment support.

Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development: Design and deliver training sessions for the company's management system, ensuring that all staff members are adequately trained.
  • Research and Development: Conduct thorough research and development of specialized equipment to support business objectives, exploring innovative solutions from other industries.
  • Equipment Support: Provide comprehensive support for RVI equipment, including maintenance, repairs, procurement, trials, and handling emergent requests within the department.
  • Performance Metrics: Generate and analyze performance metrics to assess the benefits of capability improvements over time.
  • Business Case Preparation: Assist in preparing business cases and justifications, focusing on maximizing return on investment for new initiatives and projects.

Requirements:

  • Degree Qualified: Hold a degree in an engineering discipline or have relevant experience.
  • Visual Inspection Knowledge: Possess knowledge of visual inspection techniques and methods.
  • Negotiation and Influence: Demonstrate the ability to effectively negotiate, persuade, and influence up to senior management levels.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £45,628+ (dependent on skills and experience) and a range of benefits, including enhanced annual leave allowance and a company-contributed Share Incentive Plan.
