Naval Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Naval Engineer - Nuclear Safety to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our PNED team, you will support the Astute and Dreadnought programme, including resolution of emergent issues during the build and commissioning of the Naval Reactor Plant.
The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification in a relevant subject, experience in nuclear safety assessment, and the ability to carry out root cause analysis. This role offers a competitive salary (£85,000 - £115,000), hybrid working arrangements, and access to additional benefits such as flexible working and an employee assistance programme.
The successful candidate will work closely with the wider PNED teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions and will be empowered to make decisions and take ownership of projects.
