We're recruiting a seasoned Culinary Operations Manager to oversee our catering and service operations in the Defence sector. This is a full-time position, working 35 hours a week.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly, delivering exceptional food experiences to our customers. In return, you'll have the opportunity to advance your catering career with a company that invests in its people and celebrates individuality.

Your shift patterns will include working 5 out of 7 days. If you're passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards

• Supervising our culinary and catering teams to maintain impeccable food and customer service

• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets

• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image

• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations

• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone can excel in their role

• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in catering, experience managing teams, hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Compass Group UK&I is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every individual can thrive. We offer competitive salaries and benefits, including a salary range of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
