Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Risk Officer to join our team at Macildowie Recruitment and Retention. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of risk and compliance across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Management
    • Assist Senior Managers in complying with regulatory requirements, laws, and industry standards.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Compliance Monitoring Plan to ensure adequate risk management.
  • Risk Management
    • Conduct internal second-line audits and provide reports to stakeholders.
    • Coordinate the internal audit schedule and maintain the company's risk register.
  • Compliance Awareness and Training
    • Deliver compliance awareness training to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Produce management information for the Board of Directors and business risk committees.
    • Manage the Incident Management system and provide MI to stakeholders.
  • Compliance Reviews
    • Conduct compliance reviews of financial promotions.
  • Support and Coordination
    • Support the DPA Officer with DPA compliance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum GCSE Maths and English C/5. A levels/equivalent (preferred).
  • Degree in a related subject, and/or professional qualification e.g.: International Compliance Association (beneficial).
