Deputy General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at The Soho Hotel in London. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in overseeing the hotel's operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, and driving financial performance.
Responsibilities:- Oversee daily hotel operations, including events, food and beverage, front office, housekeeping, and kitchen management.
- Manage profit and loss, revenue management, and cost control to optimize financial performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring their needs are met and expectations surpassed.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements, including fire, hygiene, health and safety, licensing, and employment law.
- Attend key meetings, including General Managers, Operations, and Head of Departments meetings, in the absence of the General Manager.
- Assist with recruitment, training, and development to ensure the team reaches its full potential and delivers exceptional customer service.
- Previous experience as a Hotel Manager or Deputy General Manager in a high-end operation.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to assist in daily operations.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong communication abilities.
- Genuine passion for the hospitality industry with a drive to advance the hotel's success.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills to inspire and lead a diverse team.
