About the Role

ClassRoom Support is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching and Learning Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting students with complex needs and challenging behaviors.

The successful applicant will work closely with the classroom teacher to provide individualized support to students, promoting their academic and social growth. This role requires a high level of flexibility, patience, and understanding, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with complex learning difficulties.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO/Inclusion manager to ensure effective SEN provision.
  • Provide personal/intimate care for pupils requiring this level of support.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, adapting materials to meet the needs of students with complex needs.

The estimated salary for this role is approximately £92 per day, based on national averages and taking into account the location and job requirements.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Must have or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS and register on the update service.
  • Must have experience working in a school within the past two years.
  • Must have experience working with students with complex learning difficulties.
  • Must have previous Care experience or experience providing personal/intimate care for children.
