IT Infrastructure Support Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team at Cerco. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to our IT infrastructure, ensuring that all systems and services are running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve technical issues related to our IT infrastructure.
- Run diagnostics and interpret manufacturers' management tools to determine root cause and resolve technical problems.
- Configure and manage network switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect our IT infrastructure.
- Provide support for desktop services, datacentre, and security.
- Collaborate with the team to implement and manage ITIL processes.
Requirements:
- Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in desktop support services.
- Expertise in managing and supporting data center infrastructure.
- Strong background in implementing and maintaining security measures.
- Proficient in various IT toolsets and administration tasks.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
Working Hours:
The service provided by the team is 24/7, 365 days a year. There are 5 shift teams that work on a shift-based rota system, comprising 4 (day or night) 12 and a half hour shifts, followed by 6 days off.
Additional Information:
Candidates living near the site or prepared to relocate will be prioritised. You must have full SC (Security Clearance) which will need to be transferred to the site. You will also be required to apply and obtain DV Clearance within the first 6 months of their employment.
