About the Role:

CV Library is seeking a Commercial Estimator for MEP Projects with expertise in either electrical or mechanical disciplines. The successful candidate will have strong commercial acumen and an ability to manage budgets and costs effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Budget Preparation: Prepare and manage budgets for MEP packages across commercial projects.
  • Tender Documents: Create and review tender documents, contracts, and cost control plans.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to ensure budgets are adhered to and commercial objectives are met.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide regular reporting on project financials, including forecasting and risk analysis.
  • Sub-contractor Management: Manage sub-contractors and supplier accounts, ensuring value for money.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within MEP, with a focus on either electrical or mechanical works.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen and understanding of project financials.
  • Construction Experience: Experience in handling commercial construction projects.
