**Commercial Construction Estimator Opportunity**

We are looking for a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our esteemed client's team in Cambridge. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the financial management of Groundworks and Civil Engineering projects, conducting comprehensive quantity surveying tasks, and precise cost estimation.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in quantity surveying techniques, exceptional collaboration skills, and familiarity with contract forms such as the JCT contract range.

The role involves overseeing project finances, allocating resources, and managing subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness and professionalism. The successful candidate will also act as a key liaison between the production team and clients, collaborating seamlessly with client commercial teams.

The estimated salary range for this position is £50,000-£70,000 per annum.

  • Conduct thorough quantity surveying tasks and accurate cost estimation.
  • Oversee project finances, including tender document preparation and final account compilation.
  • Efficiently allocate resources and procure materials.
  • Manage subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness and professionalism.
  • Act as a key liaison between the production team and clients.
  • Collaborate with client commercial teams.
  • Identify and manage contract variations.
  • Prepare project invoices and final accounts meticulously.
Requirements:
