Skanska, a leading project development and construction group, is seeking a skilled Commercial Manager – MEP to join its Building Services commercial team in Botanic Place.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing MEP project finances and contractual obligations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to the Code of Conduct, Contract Performance Procedure, Project Review Management Guidelines, Risk and Opportunity Management Guidelines, Design Management Guidelines, and Project Close out Guidelines;
  • Acting in the best commercial and financial interests of the business while delivering projects and services on time and to quality standards;
  • Ensuring the obligations and responsibilities of the Project and other stakeholders are properly fulfilled;
  • Monitoring and managing the scope, notices, terms, and conditions of the Contract;
  • Collaborating with the team to deliver quality and efficient solutions;

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of commercially running large MEP projects;
  • Previous experience at SQS level running significant multiple subcontract packages (£10-50M+);
  • A good working knowledge of contract/commercial law;
  • Experience with NEC and Design and Build forms of contract;
  • Client-facing experience;
  • A relevant CSCS Card;
  • SMSTS qualification;
  • A degree or equivalent in a commercial-related subject.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits. The salary reflects the seniority and complexity of the role.
