Job Title: Principal Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Principal Pharmacist to join our team at Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust. As a key member of our clinical pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines across our services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious pharmacist to take on a leadership role and contribute to the development of our clinical pharmacy service. You will be responsible for managing and supervising pharmacists and medicines management technicians, as well as providing leadership and guidance on medicines management and optimisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy standards and quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide professional expertise, advice, and training to health professionals, patients, and carers
  • Work with leadership in the Trust and commissioners to support wider Trust requirements in relation to medicines management and medicines optimisation
  • Develop and deliver clinical pharmacy services across the Trust

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Current registered member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Experience of service and staff management
