Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of £21,709.61 - £22,388.59 per annum, dependent on experience.
Job Description:
The role of a Teaching Assistant is to provide support to students with their learning and care whilst in school and other settings. This includes developing and delivering personalised learning plans, working with colleagues to support pupils with daily routines, transitions, and positive behaviour management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Class Teacher with the day-to-day running of the class.
- Develop and deliver personalised learning plans for students.
- Work with colleagues to support pupils with daily routines, transitions, and positive behaviour management.
- Provide support to students with their learning and care whilst in school and other settings.
Requirements:
- GCSE Maths and English Language qualification minimum Level 2 or C grade or equivalent.
- Level 2-3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or working towards/happy to work towards).
- Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
- Knowledge and experience of supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to the rural location of the school).
