Role Overview

Positive Futures Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated Education Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves supporting students with learning and communication difficulties in a specialist school setting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering personalized learning plans, supporting daily routines, and promoting positive behavior management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those with SEMH and ASD.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve educational goals and improve student outcomes.
  • Assisting with lesson planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A minimum Level 2 GCSE Maths and English Language qualification.
  • A Level 2-3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
  • An understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.
  • Experience working with students who have SEMH and ASD.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
