Job Title: Special Education Needs Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team as Special Education Needs Specialists. As an SEN Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive needs-led integrated assessments for children and young people aged 0-19. You will work collaboratively with service users and other professionals to develop and implement EHC Plans that cater to the unique needs of each individual.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough needs-led integrated assessments for children and young people aged 0-19.
  • Collaborate with service users and other professionals to construct and develop EHC Plans that meet statutory requirements.
  • Prioritize workload to ensure timely completion of assessments and plan development.
  • Facilitate person-centred multi-agency meetings to support effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Evidence of experience in carrying out comprehensive needs-led integrated assessments.
  • Excellent IT and organizational skills to manage workload effectively.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and meet statutory deadlines.
  • Knowledge and experience in planning and facilitating person-centred multi-agency meetings.

Working Arrangements:

This is a hybrid working role, with two days spent in the office and three days worked from home.
