Special Education Needs Coordinator Expert

We are seeking an experienced SEN Plan Coordinator to join our team in Barnsley. As a key member of the Local Authority for Children and Young People with SEND, you will be responsible for implementing statutory duties on behalf of the authority.
Key responsibilities include working with parents and carers to ensure a positive experience during the EHC process, providing high-quality plans that accurately reflect the needs of children and young people, and maintaining effective communication and prioritization skills.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disability specialist area and possess relevant training and CPD. The role requires ability to work under pressure and meet tight timescales.
The salary for this position is estimated at £15.17 per hour, paid weekly. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.
