Education Support Specialist

Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd seeks a skilled and empathetic Education Support Specialist to work with students with complex needs in Barnsley and surrounding areas.

About the Position:
  • Deliver personalized support to students with complex needs, fostering their ability to engage with the curriculum and develop essential skills.
  • Assist with daily living tasks as required, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for students.
  • Contribute to designing engaging learning materials and a stimulating classroom atmosphere.
  • Offer emotional and practical support to students throughout the school day.
The Perfect Candidate:
  • Previous experience working with children or adults with complex needs is desirable.
Requirements:
  • A current enhanced DBS check.
  • An international police check (if necessary).

Remuneration: £21,500 - £27,000 per year, dependent on qualifications and experience. This role has a significant impact on the lives of students with complex needs, making it a rewarding career path for dedicated professionals.
