We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Administrator to join our Bereavement Team at one of the UK's leading banking groups. As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers with the finalization of their estates after a bereavement.
This is a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance. You will work remotely, with occasional on-site visits to our banking hubs. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a competitive hourly rate of £12.09 and an attractive holiday allowance of 39.5 days per year.
As a Bereavement Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service and support
- Scanning and verifying documentation
- Processing legal paperwork and death certificates
- Closing accounts and making payments
- Assisting with Inheritance Tax queries
- Offering full administrative support
- Handling general enquiries regarding estates and closures
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent attention to detail
- First-class communication skills
- Experience working in a sensitive or empathetic manner
- Ability to manage your workload effectively
- Initiative and self-motivation
Please note that you will be required to pass a credit check and a full criminal and Disclosure Scotland check.
