About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Palliative Care Nurse to join our dynamic team at Lawrence Nurses. As a Bank Palliative Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes, working within laid-down protocols and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical support to palliative care patients and their carers in their own homes.
  • Deliver care as specified in the Charity's protocols and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the DN & Community Nursing Teams to receive and provide accurate and timely reports of patient changes.
  • Adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and be conversant with the Scope of Professional Practice.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years recent experience in palliative care, either in the NHS or other relevant care setting.
  • RN Registration Level 1 or Level 2, with relevant post-registration qualification, experience ENB 931 or Diploma in Palliative care.
  • Recent experience of working in the community is desirable.
