About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in Rehabilitation Psychiatry, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services and contributing to the strategic development of our team and broader services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist assessment, formulation, treatment, interventions, and support to help individuals recover from complex severe mental illness and regain skills and confidence to live successfully in the community.
  • Be accessible and supportive to team members, actively participating in service/team evaluation and planning of future service developments.
  • Create a learning environment for all team members, offering teaching opportunities to rehabilitation teams, partner services, and organizations, as well as to patients and carers.
