Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Thanet Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and contributing to the development of our services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior medical staff, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to Trust policies.
  • Participate in service planning and business development activities, working closely with local managers and professionals to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Undertake administrative duties associated with patient care, including documentation and record-keeping.
  • Attend and contribute to the Trust's academic program, including lectures and seminars, to enhance professional development and stay up-to-date with best practices.
