About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. As a key member of our South Kent Coastal Community Mental Health Team, you will provide clinical leadership and medical input to patients under our care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring high-quality care and treatment for patients.
  • Conduct medical assessments and provide input to patients under the care of the Community Mental Health Team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, including the local CCG, to ensure effective collaboration and service delivery.
  • Take an active role in screening and assessing new referrals, working closely with other team members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.
  • Approved Clinician status and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act.
  • Full registration with the GMC.
