Role Overview

Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) professional to lead our client's HSE team in the rail construction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and standards, developing and implementing HSE policies, and providing guidance to project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective HSE strategies and plans to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement HSE training programs and provide guidance on HSE best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory bodies, clients, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • CMIOSH certification or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of rail HS&E requirements and regulations.
  • Proven experience leading HSE teams in major multi-discipline construction projects.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify trends.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd offers a competitive benefits package, including a comprehensive pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
