Construction Equipment Manager

We seek a seasoned Construction Equipment Manager to oversee the operation of 360 excavators on rail sites in Oxford. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the operation of 360 excavators on rail sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment efficiency and productivity
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure seamless operation
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency among team members
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with equipment operation, including reporting any incidents or near-misses
Requirements
  • A valid CPCS/NPORS 360 excavator ticket for operating heavy machinery
  • Minimum 5 years' experience driving 360 excavators on rail sites, with a focus on safety and efficiency
  • Demonstrable knowledge of health and safety regulations, including risk assessment and mitigation
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment
Salary:

£55,000 - £75,000 per annum, dependent on experience, reflecting your expertise and value to our team
