Business Development Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Coordinator to join our team at EllisKnight International Recruitment and support our clients in the Public Sector.

The Role:

As a Bid Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of effective business development strategies for our clients in the Public Sector. You will work closely with our Senior Bids & Pitches Manager to support partners in winning and growing work across our Public Sector clients.

This is a diverse role with a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Supporting the Senior Bids & Pitches Manager in the management of Public Sector bids, tenders, and framework opportunities across the firm, including:
    • Management of timescales and deliverables
    • Collation of responses and coordination of all inputs for tender submission
    • Compliance checks and coordination of contract review
    • Supporting the bid team by using existing collateral to draft responses where possible
    • Management of the Bid Store / Bid Library
    • Ensuring all tenders are submitted free from errors
  • Management of tender / framework portals, including building a pipeline of future tenders we should be tracking
  • Supporting the evaluation of ITT's, PQQ's, OJEUs, RFPs using a 'go/no go' process
  • Tracking and reporting on the status of all public sector bids across the firm
  • Attending bidders' days for new public sector contracts and reporting back on all details / requirements
  • Collating feedback on wins and losses and sharing with the Bid Team
  • Supporting the handover with the Bid Team to the Delivery Team

Requirements:

  • Ideal applicants will have around 3+ years' experience in a similar Business Development Function
  • Knowledge and experience in successful bid delivery to the Public Sector
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
  • Flexible, adaptable, and the ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Able to manage workload and competing priorities
  • Experience using CRM systems
