Orthopaedic Surgeon

The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trust Doctor to join our Hip and Knee Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty and complex limb reconstruction.
Main Duties- Manage in-patients and out-patients, ensuring seamless care and communication with the multidisciplinary team.
- Support junior members of the team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their growth and development.
- Assist in theatre, participating in surgical procedures and contributing to the development of new techniques and protocols.
- Participate in research and quality improvement projects, collaborating with colleagues to drive innovation and excellence in patient care.

Person Specification- MRCS or equivalent qualification.
- At least 6 months of elective orthopaedic experience.
- Completion of core surgical training or equivalent.
- Strong self-motivation and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- A good level of computer literacy.
