Orthopaedic Surgeon in Hip and Knee Unit

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team in the Hip and Knee Unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust. As a Trust Doctor, you will play a key role in the management of patients requiring primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty and complex limb reconstruction.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients, participating in research and audit activities, and contributing to the development of the unit. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care and support junior members of the team.

Requirements

  • Completion of core surgical training or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of elective orthopaedic experience
  • Strong self-motivation and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
