Commissioning Lead - Adults' Services

Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for a Commissioning Lead - Adults' Services for our Public Sector client.

About the Role

This Commissioning Lead role will develop a Commissioning Delivery Plan that will focus on policy and practice to reduce third-party spend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a Commissioning Board with the remit of setting the commissioning priorities, consolidating and overseeing the current workstreams
  • Establish regular commissioning meetings with commissioning partners to identify areas for joint commissioning opportunities
  • Develop a care home framework/DPS
  • Work with care providers to refresh Market Position Statement
  • Review approach to market management and fee uplifts, consider the formation of a provider forum(s) and/or other means of having structured and regular communication with the social care market
  • Support the Commissioning service redesign that builds capacity & capability across the organisation
Requirements
  • Public Sector Commissioning experience
  • Experience of Commissioning of Adult Services
  • Demonstrable track record of implementing commissioning strategies
