Commissioning Lead - Adults' Services

Sellick Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Lead to join our Public Sector client in Bedfordshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement a Commissioning Delivery Plan that focuses on policy and practice to reduce third-party spend.

The successful candidate will lead on the development, implementation, and management of the Adults' Service Commissioning Delivery Plan, working closely with commissioning partners to identify areas for joint commissioning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a Commissioning Board to set commissioning priorities and oversee current workstreams
  • Develop a care home framework and work with care providers to refresh Market Position Statements
  • Review market management approaches and consider the formation of provider forums or other means of structured communication with the social care market
  • Support commissioning service redesign to build capacity and capability across the organization

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commissioning and service development
  • Strong understanding of commissioning policies and practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
