Job Purpose
As a key member of the East Ayrshire Council's Housing Asset Service team, you will contribute to the delivery of an efficient and effective housing stock management service. This will involve working closely with colleagues to promote and integrate the Council's key objectives, as outlined in the Safer Communities Service Plan and the Community Plan.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality housing asset management services to support the Council's strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement opportunities for asset optimization and improvement.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including tenants, community groups, and other external partners.
Requirements
• A strong understanding of housing asset management principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work arrangements.
Working Arrangements
• Full-time permanent post.
• Mobile workstyle, with a balance of office-based and fieldwork.
• Salary range: £31,000 - £34,000 per annum.
