Job Purpose
To assess and prioritize the needs of applicants requesting social rented housing on health and disability grounds, and to contribute to the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council's key objectives, specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, and Single Outcome Agreement.
Key Responsibilities
This is a full-time permanent position with an administrative base at John Dickie Street, Kilmarnock.
The working pattern is as follows:
Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
The salary for this post is £39,000 - £42,000, plus a 5% market forces premium.
Work Style
This role involves flexible working, with 50-79% of time spent in the office. The ability to work at different locations, including home, is required.
Requirements
The post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member in respect of regulated work with either or both of these groups, or if they are already a Scheme member, be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update.
