About the Role:

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our East Ayrshire Intermediate Care Team (ICT). The ICT is a multi-disciplinary team that aims to prevent avoidable hospital admissions and reduce delayed hospital discharges by assessing needs and providing rehabilitation with/without care support in the home setting.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will manage your own caseload and work alongside colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery. You will be responsible for the delegation of work and supervision, training, and development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing needs and providing individualized treatment plans
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Delegating work and supervising students

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of current national and local drivers influencing change
  • Ability to evidence continuous professional development
  • UK driving license and car ownership

Working Arrangements:

18.5 hours per week, 5 days/7 days, with weekend working on a 1 in 8 basis rota. Flexible/agile working arrangements available.
