Sports Events Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sports Events Manager to join our team at Liverpool Football Club and Athletic Grounds Limited.
This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will lead the planning, administration, and execution of international club events, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the ideation, planning, and management of international club-centric events.
- Supporting the development of functional and departmental plans aligned with the club's strategic priorities, particularly focusing on sustainability.
- Liaising between various teams (marketing, sales, media, press, etc.) to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Ensuring all events are compliant with club policies, health and safety regulations, and other legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
- Promoting best practices in event management across the club.
About You
To succeed as a Sports Events Manager, you will need:
- A strong background in sports event management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Excellent leadership skills, able to motivate and direct a team of event coordinators.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient in MS Office software, i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, as required.
What We Offer
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary, circa £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive 25 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays) and a contributory pension scheme. Additionally, you will have access to our benefits kit bag, which includes high street discounts and a selection of benefit schemes.
