The Role

We're seeking a seasoned Event Manager Leader to oversee the planning and execution of events. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Logistics and Coordination: Design and oversee the logistics of events, ensuring schedules, budgets, and resource allocation are managed effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the events team, assigning tasks and supervising their performance to guarantee event success.
  • Client and Vendor Relations: Serve as the main point of contact with clients during events, coordinating with external vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Onsite Supervision: Oversee installations and operations during events, ensuring adherence to quality and safety protocols.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues in real-time, maintaining a calm demeanor and prioritizing client satisfaction.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Gather feedback and performance data to improve future event planning and execution.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated ability to supervise or coordinate events, handling multiple concurrent events with ease.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of motivating and guiding teams.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and vendors.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Proven ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work non-standard hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by the event schedule.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality, event management, or a related field.
