Product Development Director

Here at Travis Perkins, we're seeking a Product Development Manager to drive the product development lifecycle for a specific group of Benchmarx categories. Your key responsibilities will include leading and owning the product development lifecycle, driving portfolio profitability, and SKU efficiency for a market-leading product offer. This involves delivering detailed SKU level data analysis, consumer & trade market data analysis and insights, product design, innovation & development, and value engineering programmes to future-proof the Benchmarx kitchen assortment.
You'll be responsible for identifying and developing relevant market-leading design initiatives, creating usable and functional data for range mapping, reviewing profitability, and making informed decisions. You'll also lead and integrate closely with the team, ensuring all business cases demonstrate clear profitability and warehouse SKU efficiency.
Additionally, you'll develop and maintain effective relationships within the wider team, Marketing Department, and Product Development Panel. You'll support Marketing on CGI/photography, catalogue content, in-store graphics/POS, in-store layouts, bay designs, decorative specifications, and display dressing solutions. You'll also support the Head of Product with the delivery of the full end-to-end Go-To-Market strategy, NPD, and management of delete lines and obsolete stock.
