Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in developing a high-performing culinary team, focusing on teamwork, communication, and quality.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
- Conduct regular time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring the highest quality ingredients.
- Assist with menu planning, development, and implementation, ensuring alignment with the hotel's culinary vision.
- Monitor and control food costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for food, a commitment to excellence, and a customer-centric approach.
