Financial Control Manager

Sainsbury's Bank is seeking a skilled Financial Control Manager to join its Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing financial activities for specific products and services, ensuring accurate balance sheet substantiation and reconciliation controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial close process for specific products and services
  • Ensure balance sheet substantiation and reconciliation controls are in place
  • Support the preparation of monthly management reports
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of financial processes and controls for business change initiatives
  • Provide analysis and disclosures for the Bank's monthly management accounts and Group consolidation packs

Requirements:

  • Expertise in finance operations, reporting, and control
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Collaborative team player with strong relationship management skills
