Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Level 7 Assessor to join our team as a Learning Disability Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing students' skills and abilities, analysing results, and preparing comprehensive reports.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience working with students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and support professionals.

Responsibilities:
  1. Administer standardised tests to evaluate reading, writing, mathematical skills, and cognitive abilities.
  2. Analyse assessment results to determine SpLD diagnosis and recommendations.
  3. Prepare comprehensive reports detailing assessment findings and recommendations.
  4. Communicate findings to parents, educators, and other stakeholders.
  5. Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Level 7 SpLD qualification and current Assessment Practicing Certificate (APC).
  • Experience working with students with SpLD and support professionals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Arrangements and Salary:

£30,879 - £49,335 per annum FTE (dependent on teaching qualifications and experience).
