We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team as Assessment Professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing candidates' performance and ensuring the overall standards are maintained.

As an Assessment Professional, you will have the opportunity to work with us in a challenging yet rewarding role, where you will be involved in conducting and marking oral examinations, or being present at practical examinations where the activity of candidates has to be observed as part of the marking procedure.

About this Role
  • Estimated salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
  • Location: Flexible, with travel requirements
  • Job Type: Full-time

You will need to have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. IT literacy is also essential.

Responsibilities
  • To assess candidates' performance by visiting centres and ensuring the overall standards are maintained
  • To report any difficulties encountered during the assessment to Pearson
  • To undertake an agreed allocation of local centres
