Salary:

£45,000 - £95,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

In this rewarding role, you will conduct comprehensive specialist assessments, including diagnostic assessments for individuals suspected of having autism and/or ADHD. You may also be required to assess mental health conditions.

As a key member of our team, you will write detailed assessment reports, provide recommendations, and offer interventions. You may also supervise and support junior staff members, depending on your level of experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist
  • Experience in conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental/specialist developmental assessments with children and young people
  • Experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and appropriate assessment tools for autism and ADHD
  • Experience in report writing and record keeping
  • Additional qualifications in relevant areas of autism and/or ADHD
