Compassionate Animal Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at GLG Vets in Exeter. This is a permanent, full-time position for an experienced RVN who is passionate about providing high-quality care to animals and ensuring clients feel supported and informed.

Hours: 40 hours per week
This role involves providing nursing care to a variety of animal patients, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times. The successful candidate will assist veterinarians with medical procedures, surgeries, and diagnostics, conduct routine health checks, administer medications, and monitor patient progress.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to animals, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, surgeries, and diagnostics.

- Maintain and organize clinical and surgical equipment.
- Educate and advise clients on best practices for pet care and health.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine.
To be considered for this role, you must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with up-to-date RCVS registration. You should have strong clinical skills, with experience in a fast-paced veterinary environment preferred. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a team, communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues, and demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Additionally, you should have the ability to work a 40-hour week, including weekends and evenings, and be willing to participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine.
What We Offer:We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a supportive team environment with career progression options.
