Healthcare Administrative Coordinator

**Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Input Officer to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to provide administrative support to our Radiotherapy department, Oncology clinics, and wards within Women's Services.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of specific activities, including data collection, ordering stationery, and providing a quality reception service for all users of the Outpatient-based services. You will also be involved in maintaining excellent communication between patients, nursing staff, clinicians, and other members of the administrative and multi-disciplinary team at all times.
Main Responsibilities
- Data Collection: Collect data as required to assist with audits of service provision staffing huddle within the unit.
- Stationery Procurement: Order stationery following training in the use of PECOS.
- Ward Support: Support with restocking admin stores when they arrive on the ward.
- Courtesy and Communication: Ensure that all patients and colleagues are treated courteously at all times in line with customer care standards and Trust values.
- Communication Skills: Maintain excellent communication between patients, nursing staff, clinicians, and other members of the administrative and multi-disciplinary team at all times.
- Project Participation: Participate proactively in projects and service improvements as required.
- Induction Support: Assist with induction programmes for new staff within the department.
- Patient Information: Contribute to the production and updating of patient information and other useful resources.
- Appointment Recording: Complete outcomes on internal systems to record patient appointments ensuring trust income.
- Customer Service: Present a professional image at all times to ensure that good communication and customer service is maintained with all patients and colleagues.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience of using IT systems and patient data systems is also highly desirable.
