About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team as an EHS Manager. As a key member of our EHS Services team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to ensure the delivery of EHS excellence across our UK&I operations.

As an EHS Manager, you will work closely with our Engineering team and stakeholders to develop and implement EHS strategies that meet the needs of our business and our customers. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, and for identifying and mitigating potential EHS risks.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced EHS professional who is passionate about delivering EHS excellence and making a positive impact on our business and our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EHS strategies that meet the needs of our business and our customers.
  • Provide expert advice and support to ensure the delivery of EHS excellence across our UK&I operations.
  • Work closely with our Engineering team and stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential EHS risks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that our employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to work safely.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards) / NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate.
  • IEMA Certificate or equivalent.
  • Internal Quality Auditor.
  • Good knowledge of Construction and CDM Regulations.
  • Experience of working with ISO14001, ISO45001.
  • Working knowledge of Railway specific standards.
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
